Currently residing in London, Ontario, I was born and raised in Ottawa. Graduating from Canterbury High School with honors and a Fine Arts Certificate in Visual Arts, I pursued an academic career at Queen’s University at Kingston studying Politics and History. In 2000 this path with reset with a creative career in corporate events and the exhibit industry.
Working as an installation technician, I learned the physical application side of exhibit building. This hands-on approach is central in designing creative solutions that are achievable. Designers, master carpenters and experienced colleagues all contributed to this education and allowed for my growth in this industry. I also spent a period of time working as a CNC programmer/operator in a busy metal shop creating custom elevator interiors. This exposure to materials and manufacturing gave me the insight and ability to automate the fabrication process whenever possible. I worked as Head of Design for one of the largest exhibit companies in Ottawa before relocating to London.
I can be found developing a wide range of events and that require, not only creativity, but problem solving and the execution of something that all are proud of. I have been fortunate enough to travel across North America and Europe with signature booths and repeat clients. From concept to completion, I remain calm and pragmatic in all pursuits.
